Here in Australia they do anyway. In the UK it's 87%. The US is a different story, but Google is still very much on the rise, while Yahoo and MSN especially race towards 0%. Here are the June 2008 figures:

As you can see, Microsoft's MSN Search has taken a beating from 9.85% down to 5.46% in the past 12 months. Microsoft desperately wants to buy Yahoo and Yahoo desperately wants Microsoft to buy it so that both can remain competitive in search, but they've been bickering for months over terms and can't seem to see eye to eye on anything.

Yahoo in the meantime has made a deal with Google to allow Google ads to appear on the Yahoo network in exchange for a huge wad of cash, but this has already prompted many advertisers to simply drop Yahoo altogether in favour of Google, safe in the knowledge that their ads will appear on Yahoo's network anyway.

Meanwhile Microsoft has taken the absurdly amusing step of paying people to use its search service. We'll see how that one works out!

For now though it's sunshine and champagne all round for Google, who just seem to go from strength to strength.
